We are mobilising our OrphanKind programme in Gaza.
Gaza has been subject to relentless bombardment over the last few months causing the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians, resulting in a shocking surge in the number of orphans that are now left in Gaza. It has been reported that over 25,000 children are now orphans following the onslaught that commenced in October – Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Illahi Rajioon.

We are preparing our OrphanKind programme to ensure we are fully equipped and ready to take the orphan children of Gaza into our care as soon as we are physically able to, and we are relying on you to help us do this – Insha’Allah!

While our regular programme activities may be paused, please rest assured that we are still working tirelessly to support children who have been displaced or affected by the conflict. Through our network of partners and dedicated staff, we are providing essential aid, including shelter, food, medical assistance and essential hygiene supplies to ensure the safety and welfare of vulnerable children and families.
What happens next?
As soon as stability returns to the region, we are committed to resuming our orphan sponsorship programme in Gaza. Your ongoing support will be crucial in helping us rebuild and continue our mission of providing a brighter future for orphaned children in Gaza.
The Orphan Kind project enables orphaned children in Gaza provides children with a safe and loving environment allowing them to gain access to quality education and academic achievement, while improving the mental health of children and harnessing their talents through several stress-release and extra-curricular activities, including artistic and cultural activities through community libraries.
In addition, it enhances the health situation of orphaned children through providing them with access to medical check-ups, treatment, and all the necessary health support.
All of these interventions will be crucial in the coming years as we help the people of Gaza rebuild their lives, recover from this unprecedented trauma, and support the younger generations in beginning a new chapter in Palestinian history.
