Penny Appeal is addressing misinformation about our organisation spread on social media.

Our CEO, and lifelong Bradford City Football fan, Ridwana Wallace-Laher, attended an Iftar event at the home of Bradford City.

We wanted to paint the city orange as our team took to the streets of the capital.

We attended an interfaith iftar evening at The National History Museum in London, focused on giving young people a seat at the table when it comes to climate change.

Our CEO, Ridwana, along with some special volunteers, paid a very ‘orange’ visit to the young patients at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Over 200 people from different backgrounds came together last Sunday for a charity Iftar in partnership with Rochdale organisation, Army of Kindness.

We were thrilled to have been invited to co-host a corporate charity Iftar last week.

As we reflect on the 27th night of Ramadan, we must remember what a special night this is. Alhamdulillah, most scholars believe Laylatul Qadr – the Night of Power – to fall on the 27th Night of Ramadan. This is the night when the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). It is a night of immense blessings, mercy, and forgiveness.

Ramadan is a time of peace and blessing across the Muslim world. However, for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, the holy month has been repeatedly marred by increased aggression.

The blessed month of Ramadan is racing on, and as we focus on spiritual rejuvenation, and reflection, I wanted to explore the opportunities this month offers to put our faith into action.
