Penny Appeal has been entered for the JustGiving 2016 Charity of the Year award, in recognition of our work to transform lives in the UK and worldwide.
Up and down the country our #TeamOrange volunteers are working hard to support people in need, and as this is Volunteers’ Week we’d like to say a big THANK YOU to every member of the family.
Dozens of footballers have taken part in a fundraising tournament to support orphan care around the world. They raised over £1,600, which will go on to care for orphans in places like Palestine, Pakistan and The Gambia through our OrphanKind programme.
Runners, joggers and walkers put their best feet forward in the Great Birmingham 10k earlier this month, raising over £5,000 to care for and educate orphans and needy children.
Throughout April we celebrated Smile Relief – our month-long extravaganza that encouraged people to have fun to support orphans and needy children around the world.
Our #TeamOrange volunteers helped give Syrians living in Bradford a warm welcome to the community during a special event at Dixons City Academy on Thursday 21st April.

One of our dedicated #TeamOrange volunteers, Alycia Malta, recently organised a Ladies Fitness Extravaganza, bringing 30 women together for fun activities and a chance to help refugees.
Our five-city Outlandish and Saif Adam tour has now come to an end, and we’re delighted to announce that it was a massive success.
