Today is the last Friday of Ramadan and is affectionately known as Jumu’atul Wida. The word ‘Jumu’ah’ refers to a ‘gathering’ and word ‘wida’ means ‘farewell’ – so the phrase Jumu’atul Wida essentially means The Friday of Farewell.
