Our latest Orphan Complex in Pakistan is up and running!

According to the United Nations, there are around 4.5 million orphans in Pakistan – Subhan'Allah. Whether left abandoned due to the sudden death of their parents, battles with long term illnesses, poverty, or natural disasters, there are so many innocent children who desperately need our help.  

Here at Penny Appeal, we’re dedicated to supporting these vulnerable children, and with your support, we’ve transformed the lives of children across the globe with 121,104 orphan sponsorships and counting! 

The latest addition to our portfolio of life-saving work is a state-of-the-art Orphan Home Village Complex in the heart of Sohawa in Pakistan. After years of planning, construction and finishing touches, we are proud to share that children have now moved into their new homes, with more expected in the coming weeks - Alhamdulillah! 

Within their newfound safe place, the children who have arrived so fahave found a whole new environment to flourish and thrive. They will benefit from a comprehensive education, healthcare, nutritious meals, clothing, extra-curricular activities, and a whole lot of brand-new friendships. Beyond this, the childrewill be pushed to their full potential, empowered to dream big and work hard. With the support of our specialist, dedicated staff, these once vulnerable childreare now able to break free from the cycle of poverty and hardship – Insha’Allah. 

Despite some initial delays, it has been heartwarming to witness the vision of this orphan complex come to life. We would like to extend a BIG, orange thank you tall donors who contributed to the incredible success of this project. The patience of all who have been involved is so deeply appreciated, and we’re sure you’ll agree that the end result is everything we prayed for and more. We are grateful and humbled to have been chosen by Allah (SWT) to carry out this mission and to provide the support that these children so desperately need. We can’t wait to take you on this journey with us as these children grow and develop and go on to make us all proud.
