London SuperHero Run
CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES! Don your capes and charge up your superpowers! It's time to become a hero for the day and sign up to run with Penny Appeal at the London Superhero Run on Sunday 14th May 2017.
You’ll be raising money for our Forgotten Children appeal, to rescue children from the dangers of the streets.
Registration Fee: £10
Minimum Sponsorship: £70
We have a limited number of charity places available. Sign up now and pay the £10 registration fee to reserve your space.
Once you’re signed up we’ll let you know where to meet the other #TeamOrange volunteers on race day.
With a 5K or 10K route to choose from, and the option to run, walk or jog the course, this challenge is accessible to anybody – plus, there’s a special 200m course for mini-superheroes (ages 8 and under), so the whole family can take part.
It’s fancy dress, so be sure to take advantage of the free costumes provided on the day - or bring your own if you're feeling particularly adventurous! There will be a prize for the best dressed and a medal for each participant.
This fun run is set in the beautiful Regents Park in North-West London. (Chester Rd, London NW1 4NR) For more information about the race, the route and what do to on the day, visit the London Superhero Run website.
Be Their Hero
You could be a real life hero to children in danger. Our Forgotten Children appeal works in countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Lebanon to provide emergency support to vulnerable street children.
It costs just £14 to rescue a child. Raise the minimum sponsorship of £70 to save five children, or go the extra mile and aim for 10, 20 or even a whole classroom of children!
Whether online or offline, get your fundraising off to a flying start. If you're setting up a JustGiving page, be sure to join our team to keep track of #TeamOrange's progress, or download a sponsorship form to get pledges in person.
