> Pakistan Floods Emergency Appeal
The past few days has seen the North-Western region of Pakistan hit by the worst floods in over 80 years.
At least 1,100 people have died and, with entire communities devastated, it is now estimated that more than 1.5 million people desperately need help. Thousands of people have lost their homes and livelihoods, crops have been destroyed and whole villages have been washed away.
Roads and bridges have been affected, leaving some areas cut off, and with the flood levels due to rise there is a risk that many more people could find themselves homeless.
There are fears diarrhoea and cholera will spread among the homeless. Food and drinking water are in short supply.
Donate now and help us get much needed aid to those who are most in need!
£30 could provide vaccinations to protect more than 45 children against killer diseases.
£50 could provide water kits supplying 5 families with safe drinking water.
£100 could provide tents and shelter for those left homeless.
Our target for this appeal is £10,000, please donate generously.
